Housebuilder suspends giant poppy over new development
London Square marked Armistice Day at its site at London Square Bermondsey today – suspending a giant poppy and a Help for Heroes flag from two cranes high above the 4.7acre development of apartments on a former factory site in SE1.
The giant poppy was built from plywood on-site by the London Square team, led by senior project manager Mark Lopeman. All four cranes on site were positioned at salute while the construction team observed the two minutes silence at ground level.
